Cube Developments begins sales campaign for Seasons by Cube complex at Birtinya

A trendy new $102m apartment complex with almost 150 units is being developed at a growing coastal suburb to attract young property buyers.

Sunshine Coast developer Cube has listed Seasons by Cube units for sale with 17 of the 146 apartments selling within the first four weeks of the expressions of interest campaign.

Cube is building the Birtinya apartments for entry-level buyers who value leisure and liveability.

The eight-storey Cottee Parker-designed project is being built by McNab Constructions and is expected to be completed in late 2023.

Cottee Parker architects director Sandra Brown said it was designed with a heavy emphasis on aesthetics.

“We have focused on a range of materials to achieve a sleek, urban feel – timber, aluminium, plenty of greenery as well as getting a lot of the off-form concrete into the design,” Ms Brown said.

The towers will be decorated with a mural art piece by Sunshine Coast based artist Timothy Birch.

“We wanted to create a really interactive ground plan, which invited both the residents and community to integrate and connect socially, enjoying features like outdoor barbecue and gathering spaces, private dining room, vast landscaped greenspaces, lounging areas, sun decks and a leisure pool,” Ms Brown said.

Cube Development director Scott Juniper said the complex aimed to provide young buyers a foot into the highly competitive property market.

“We wanted to create a product that appealed to a youthful, lifestyle-oriented buyer through a new-age ‘live, work and play’ model at a price they could afford,” Mr Juniper said.

“It made sense that Birtinya was the spot to do it – the community has well and truly begun bursting to life, as exciting projects, retail and living options emerge.”

Seasons by Cube offers two and three bedroom apartments priced from $499,000 with expressions of interest now open.
