Cube Developments snaps up last beachfront block for $5m

The last remaining beachfront site at Bokarina Beach has been snapped up by a busy developer who has planned a six-storey apartment complex to cater for growing demand.

Cube Developments this week announced it secured Lot 907, a 3214sq m block at Bokarina Beach for “close to” $5 million.

Company director Scott Juniper said the plan was to deliver up to 75 medium density ocean view apartments in a “boutique” complex.

“We are very fortunate to have acquired the last slice of land on the coast that is positioned right on the oceanfront,” Mr Juniper said.

“This project will help cater to the pent-up demand for beach front living that we have experienced here on the Coast since the mass northerly migration of interstate sea-changers, since early last year.

“We look forward to delivering a desirable outcome for everyone involved and taking advantage of this very special spot to create homes that will be enjoyed long into the future.”

Mr Juniper said the Bokarina project would add to Cube’s growing Sunshine Coast portfolio, which included three other residential apartments in neighbouring suburb Birtinya.

Cube was behind the sellout $27m One Prosperity, expected to be built at the end of 2021, and the $37m Curve complex, due for completion next month.

The company also recently launched Seasons by Cube.
