One Prosperity lives up to its name for Cube

CUBE Developments has sold out its $27 million Birtinya project, One Prosperity, reflecting an increase in interest in the area.

One Prosperity on the Sunshine Coast will be comprised of 50 apartments on Lake Kawana, with residences individually tilted and spanning two storeys.

“For the price of the apartments, you could typically expect to be in a much denser suburb in a larger housing estate. The sheer size of the apartments, along with the style of the development, are certainly unique to the coast,” said Scott Juniper, director of Cube Developments.

According to Juniper, the Birtinya area is becoming more established, with the suburb offering more lifestyle and leisure facilities than other entry-level markets.

“It’s a very unique spot with access to the hub of health facilities at Oceanside, and being in such close proximity to cafes, gyms and retail precincts. The community is built around the outdoors with the patrolled beach just a bike ride away, plenty of parks nearby and of course Lake Kawana at its doorstep,” added Juniper.

Recent sales in the area include a retail complex, which was exchanged for $3.115 million, on a yield of 5.40%.

After the success of this development, Cube has announced a new project in the Birtinya area, Seasons by Cube, to be composed of three mid-rise towers with 146 apartments.

Seasons by Cube is scheduled to enter the market in the latter half of 2021, with the expressions of interest campaign currently open. The urban residential project will include work from home amenities and will target first home owners, with prices starting at $479,000.

“Seasons will cater to a market where remote work and lifestyle are driving forces for where to live. The project is centered around a model where residents work, rejuvenate and enjoy elevated leisure all in one space,” said Juniper.

Cube broke ground on its $12.5 million apartment project, Picasso, at the start of last month in Moolooba, Queensland. At the time of breaking ground, the seven-storey development was 75% sold out.

Construction of One Prosperity is underway, with completion scheduled for the end of 2021.
